Adam Griffith
Adam Richard Griffith (born 11 February 1978 in Launceston, Tasmania) is an Australian cricket player. He currently plays for Tasmania and has also had a spell at Leicestershire. He plays his club cricket for North Hobart Cricket Club.
Griffith is a tall and stocky fast bowler and has recently came into contention for Australia following two impressive seasons for Tasmania. Last year he led the Pura Cup wicket taking list with 48 victims. He has become an integral part of Tasmania's bowling attack, and generally bowls well at Bellerive Oval which is usually more suited to batting than bowling.
His spell at Leicestershire has been less impressive, despite bowling well Griffith has found wickets hard to come by at Grace Road.
